Mohammad Jafferany, MD

I am a board certified psychiatrist from American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I completed my adult psychiatry residency at Hennepin County Medical center in Minneapolis, Minnesota and my fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s hospital in Seattle, Washington. I am a member of various professional organizations such as American Psychiatric association, American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to my training in adult and child & adolescent psychiatry, Psychodermatology is my area of interest and research. Disorders such as trichotillomania, skin picking and psychogenic itching are some of the problems in this area I take deep interest. Along with medication management I also utilize other modalities of treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, supportive psychotherapy and habit reversal therapy.
