He maintains a private practice in Calgary, Alberta and specializes in the treatment of Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs) - approximately 50% of Corrick's caseload consists of individuals with Trich and/or skin picking and allied BFRBs. Corrick's approach and theoretical orientation is “eclectic” – that is, he adapts and draws from a number of orientations to suite the unique nature of each problem and each individual. He also has an interest in the use of Clinical Hypnosis, in conjunction with individual therapy or as a standalone treatment. Corrick is a regular presenter at the Calgary BFRB Support Group (allied to the Canadian Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviour Support Network); and he is currently working on developing a group treatment format for BFRB's and hopes to offer this as an additional service in the Fall of 2016.
