Where do you pull from?

I've been pulling since I was in 7th grade. I only pull out the hair on the left side of my head and no where else on my body. I also only pull specific strands of hair. Anyone have anything similar?

I started around that time too. I've read stuff that for some women it has to do with social anxiety and their menstrual cycle (that's how it started with me)
I only pull from my head but usually from varies areas usually the front. I won't do it in front of others, except my family members. Some people say they use a hobby to distract them, when I try to watch to TV I get urges to pull so its annoying. I can't even relax to watch TV or read a book!

That's interesting that you say you've read it might have some connection with social anxiety. I've never heard this, but would love to read more about it. I also started in 7th grade, and was always quite shy and a loner. It's actually gotten worse as I entered high school and then college and then finally the workplace where it's now gotten worse than ever, and I finally realized that I probably have social anxiety. If there was some sort of connection between the two, then that would be really interesting.

I pull my pubic hair, nose hair, leg and toe hair, arm hair, armpit hair, eyebrow hair, and eyelash hair. I once pulled from my head where I had a scab, in hopes that the root would be bigger (increased sensation) and I now have a few small bald spots that are easy to cover up. But... I now have no eyebrows and almost no eyelashes.

I pull from everywhere, my eyelashes, leg hair, pubic hair, sometimes my scalp hair, and even my arm hair

I started pulling in the second grade. At first it was just my eyebrows and eyelashes (so haven't had them since), but once I reached sixth grade, I began pulling the hair on my head. The first spot on my head I pulled was a spot in the back. It's mostly centralized to the crown and hairline. I also do a fair amount to the left side of my head. The lower back and lower right side have never been touched, and I've only had a major issue with the left lower side twice where I had a bald spot probably the size of a tennis ball. I also have tendencies to pick at my skin on my head and face, as well as tendencies to pull random hairs that bother me. Basically anything that my brain deems out of place will bother me.
A lot of my pulling stems from the feeling that something is wrong, out of place. I feel like I need to pull it out to fix it, and I can't stop thinking about it until I do.

crown/top of my head only. No drive to pull anywhere else. Although after a major tweezer binge about ten years ago I also have no eyebrows now.

I started at the same time as you and pull from my eyebrows, eyelashes, legs, fingers, and sometimes hands. I don't really pull specific strands (for eyebrows and eyelashes I will just pull as soon as a hair starts to grow back in), but I do have a mole on my hand which has slightly darker and thicker hair growing around it which I pull from as soon as those hairs start growing in, even though I don't pull from other areas of my hands too often.
