Someone to talk to/my story.

Hi, I started pulling my eyelashes and eyebrows out when i was 5/6 years old. I have been pulling them out for a long time. I have had help and suport over those years/ up until now and it never really worked. I have just started secondary school and people are starting to notice that I don't have any eyelashes or eyebrows. I really don't want to get teased about it at school. I've tried really hard to stop but I have been really stressed recently with my new school and I kind feel relieved after pulling. I don't really understand it all that well but if anyone is willing to chat to me and maybe give me some tips on how to help myself stop pulling that would be great! Thanks :)

I have been pulling so much that my eyelids have been bleeding and swelling up.
i would like to stop pulling without cream or gel that makes them grow back, but for no until i find a way to grow them back then can someone tell me the name of a growing back eyelash/eyebrow cream or gel they use. Preferably quite soon! Thanks :)

I'm stealing another poster's suggestion, but maybe try OTC minoxidil.

Also, try extra mcg biotion such as 5000 or 1000 mcg.

If you have meetups in your area, for example we have Minnesota Trichotillomania and BFD group. It helps to see people in person, say that you will make a plan and keep tabs on your progress, even if you relapse, with others.

Note I'm not professional advice so take with grain of salt.

Apology for the careless comment on minoxidil:

Full disclosure:
I have only been taking biotin pills and using itch creams, and biotin has helped my hair grow back quicker while the itch cream has helped somewhat remind me to keep my hands away from my hair.

Apologies again for the careless mention of minoxidil, especially near the eyes.

Take care, good luck, and please keep posted on any progress and hopefully not relapses, but keep up the effort!
