Hi Everyone! I thought I'd start a post for praises (I didn't see one, and if there is one let me know!)
We are the only people who know how hard it is to stop pulling. Let's applaud each other for when we do win the fight against those urges!
Have you gone months, weeks, or even an hour without pulling? Did you sit and read a book or study and only pull out a couple hairs? Did you reach your goal today? Share your triumphs and let us know what helped you! I'll start...
I have been pulling since I was 10. That was 15 years ago. I have now been pull free from my head for 17 days! Last time that happened was 10 years ago.
I have been working really hard to go to my arm hair instead and it finally clicked! I have really tried to listen to what my body needs these past couple months and figured out that when my heart is racing (usually from stress), when I am hungry, or don't feel well are major times I want to pull. Eating healthy (especially drinking lots of water), meditating and honeybush tea (helps regulate blood sugar) have really helped me! I still can't believe it's already been 17 days. I set small goals so I don't get overwhelmed. 20 days is my next goal, and the big goal right now is 30! Fingers crossed I get there!!
Share your triumphs! We here to support each other!
