I can’t stop pulling

Hello,

I have had trich since the age of around 10. I pull out my eyebrows and eyelashes. I have had therapy, I have used plasters and other stuff to try help Me. They have grown back before but I soon pick them all out again and am finding it really hard to control myself! I currently have microblading on My eyebrows As I have none. Also only just under half my eyelashes left. I really need help and would love to find anyone that has the same problem, it would be nice to talk to anyone that actually understands trich and then hopefully we can try concur this together. Xx

Hey there,

I'm glad you've posted and reached out for people who understand what you're going through.

I was diagnosed with trich around 7/8 and pulled my eyelashes and eyebrows up until the age of about 16. I'm in my early 30's now and have recently started pulling my hair on my head.

I'd totally love to chat about what we're going through! I beat trich for many, many years - so I know that it can be done! :-)

I've never tried wearing acrylics, but seems like it's a good idea! If I feel like I'm going to pull my hair on my head, I put on a beanie or tie my hair up. With my eyelashes, I wore fake eyelashes as much as I could, which would stop me from wanting to pull my actual eyelashes.
