What to try when nothing has helped?

My fiance recently broke up with me and the pulling has worsened considerably due to the stress and grief of losing everything overnight. I am however Determined to beat this monster of trich I've had on & off for over 20 years. However I've tried everything both therapy wise and medicinal. Yes, holistic too! And nothing has helped. Only thing I haven't tried yet is hypnotherapy/ hypnosis and acupuncture. Does anyone think these could help or should I go back to the drawing board of therapies ive tried before ( and what, please would you suggest?) Thanks so much for your help, time and response!

Hi.
I’m 16 years old and I had a really rough period of trich about 2-3 years ago. I’m also ADHD and i have bad anxiety and a small ocd. I start pulling off my hair at 12 and it was really bad. I used to cry all the time and hurt myself. My mommy’s friend is a hairstylist and when she came over and she saw my hair, she start looking for a way to stop me from pulling off my hair. She came back with an idea, dreadlocks. I wasn’t happy with the idea but we tried it. I cut off my dreadlocks exactly two weeks ago. It helped me so much because I wasn’t able to play with my hair. I also started yoga and meditation, which helped me too. So I would say that maybe try a hairstyle like dreadlocks or just shaving your hair. It’s pretty badass. I don’t know if it helped, but if you have any questions, feel free to message me!
Good luck!
