Anxious to go to school

Hey, my name is Cherry, I'm 16 and my high school is set to go back to physical school this week, which just adds more stress to my life.

I'm incredibly anxious about my bald spots because they've been getting worse and much more noticeable than ever before. I hate looking in the mirror, it's really heartbreaking. My life feels like it's falling apart, I've been losing hope in therapy and cbt because nothing is working. I really don't know what to do and I don't really have any close friends to confide in.
I'm really scared people will see my bald spots, the regrowth is bad enough but this is so much worse.
I really just want to go hide somewhere forever but sadly I can't do that.
Does anyone know what I can do to get back on track? I'm terrified of my own thoughts lately :(
Also if anyone has any tips to cover bald spots I'd be so thankful <3

Hi there I’m new to this site and I’m 19 and have been suffering with this since around middle school. For me it’s mainly eyelash’s and eyebrows, I graduated high school this year and know exactly how you feel.
I dont have anyone to talk to about it and have tried constantly to stop, school was always a big struggle for me but just keep pushing through. I’m here if you want a friend to talk to

hi thanks so much for your comment.
school actually was okay but I was so anxious because I haven't seen people in months so it's so much more noticeable... I guess it'll be something I'll have to deal with the next few months.
Same goes for you though, I'm here to listen or help :)
I've found that keeping occupied really helps reduce pulling lately... It's not 100% but I'm so focused on other things I don't even get the urge to pull so that's good.

And thanks again

Hi cherryrivers!
You are talking about it and I'm glad that you are. I know how bleak it feels right now, I have gone through it too. It is difficult, I won't deny that. But also, it is not something that you can't overcome. You can!
You could use a head band or a bandana. You could use a scarf or a stole to cover your head. In fact, you could have your own style statement that way ;)
