Beaded bracelet to keep track of progress

Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I've had trich for 18 years now, and I've avoided any online help as it can be a trigger, but trich ruined my teenage years and continues to cause me great distress into my 20s. Medication and therapy didn't work for me, and I want to try new ideas.

I recently had the idea to motivate myself by wearing a bracelet. Each day that I do not pull, I can add a bead to the bracelet to give me a nice visual of how long I've gone without pulling.

I could use a little help though... I went to AC Moore today, thinking this would be an easy task only to find out that they didn't have anything I could use. I'm looking for a bracelet with a clasp that can either be unscrewed or is very small to allow me to slide beads on daily. The best I could find was a Pandora-like bracelet that fits Pandora-like beads. I'm hoping to use small beads that will allow me to hold around 30 or so on the chain.

Would anyone happen to know where I could find something like this or recommend an alternative idea? Thank you.

Hi Tangerine, welcome to the forum. That certainly sounds like a lovely idea and I sincerely hope it helps you. I cannot advice on your bracelet question pother than to perhaps look online on Amazon or check out the TLC BFRB foundation store at www.bfrb.org perhaps you will find something there. Please do keep us updated on how this works our for you as it may benefit others on this forum.
